On the Rio Curriola, Cachoeira do Guardião is one of the outings linked to the Kalunga community of Vão do Moleque. From Engenho II, it is about forty additional kilometers of road, requiring a 4x4, especially in the rainy season. Distances published by other channels may start from the Tourist Service Center (CAT) or from Cavalcante, and should not be compared without checking the starting point.

The walk, under three kilometers along the route, crosses rocks, water and pools between canyon walls. In the dry season, the clarity and bluish tones stand out. The name conveys the impression created by the rock formations surrounding the river.
