Who looks after your data
This notice applies to the Vila Infinito website, at vilainfinito.com.br. For questions about your account or requests about your data, contact David Vieira by email at davidhsv@gmail.com.
Signing in with Google
When you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your account identifier, your email address and the basic profile data made available by Google, such as name and picture. This data identifies your account and links your reviews to you. Signing in does not give access to Gmail content, Google Drive or your contacts. The site does not receive your Google password.
Private ratings and comments
We store the experience you chose, the rating and the comment you decide to save, along with the dates they were created and updated. Reviews are not published in the guide or shown to other visitors. Each account can access only its own reviews. The site administration may access data when necessary for support, maintenance and security of the service.
Storage and services used
Google handles authentication, and Supabase hosts the account and the reviews database. The database was set up in the São Paulo region. These providers’ infrastructure may process technical data in other countries. Requests to the site and to the services used may also generate technical logs, such as IP address, browser and time, which are necessary for operation and security.
Data received from Google is used to provide sign-in and the personal features described here. It is not sold, used for personalized advertising or shared with advertisers.
Data in your browser
Your browser stores your sign-in session, language and map preferences, recent searches and the places in “My Trip”. A review draft may be kept temporarily in the tab so it can be recovered after you sign in; the site only recovers drafts less than 15 minutes old. Clearing your browser data removes this local information and may end your session, but it does not delete reviews already saved to your account.
GPX files opened on the map are processed in the browser during your visit and are not sent to the reviews database. Map and image resources may load content from external providers, which receive the requests needed to display them.
Editing, deleting and ending access
You can view, edit or delete your review on the experience’s page. Account data and reviews are kept for as long as they are needed to provide these features, until they are deleted. To request a copy of your data or the deletion of your account and associated reviews, write to the contact above from the email address you used to sign in. We may confirm your identity before handling the request.
The “Sign out” button ends the session in this browser. Revoking access in your Google account settings stops the authorization, but it is not the same as deleting the data already saved at Vila Infinito. Technical logs and backups may remain for the providers’ retention periods.
Links and bookings
Bookings are made on Airbnb. When you open Airbnb, Instagram, Wikiloc or other external sites, those services’ privacy practices apply. The review form does not receive payment or booking information.
