Approximately two hundred meters below Cordovil, Encontro offers a smaller drop and a setting described as more secluded. The water flowing between the rocks creates natural hydromassage spots when conditions allow swimming.

The name should not be confused with the Encontro das Águas in Colinas do Sul.
